Red colourway added to Kingston Digitals External SSD lineup
Kingston Digital has announced the addition of a red coloured XS1000 External SSD, a small and sleek backup solution.
Kingston Digital’s XS1000 was named a winner of the 2024 Red Dot Award for product design.
The very prestigious award received over 20,000 annual submissions from 60 countries worldwide.
The company says that the new colourway matches the original all-black XS1000 and the silver XS2000.
The external drives have been made pocket sized, in the shape of a key fob in order for simple portability.
By adding new colour choices, the company has allowed “customers […] to stand out and express themselves through colour,” said Liny Cheliyan, Business Manager at Prosumer Flash and SSD.
