Automatic Systems reveals UL listing for speed gate

Automatic Systems has announced that its FirstLane and FirstLane PLUS speed gates are now UL listed.

Being UL listed ensures that the product meets local, federal, environmental and safety regulations, giving systems integrators.

The UL Standards 325 and 2593, as well as CSA C22.2 NO 247:14 (the standard in Canada) are the prevalent industry standards for ensuring the safe operation of doors, turnstiles, gates and access control equipment in the United States and Canada.

The access control systems manufacturer emphasises its modernised speed gates are suited to any environment due to its reliability and suitability for all architectural builds.

The function of the gates is to prevent unauthorised access. The gates have been proven to prevent trespassers in both indoor and outdoor settings.

The company states that the gates are built in an aesthetically pleasing design that has glass features as well as interactive lighting.

The gates’ minimalist design makes them effective to be used in locations that require medium level security.
